I have had my salon for thirty years and I can honestly say I still love my job and get a real buzz from it. The satisfaction I get from pleasing a client, be it a total colour change or even just a blow dry that is given as an end of week pick me up, never wanes. Seeing a clients face light up and watching their confidence and self esteem grow after I have restyled their hair makes me feel good about what I can achieve for them. I enjoy building my team of staff from young apprentices to highly trained stylists to make sure we offer a service to accommodate everyone.

In 2009 I started an apprenticeship through York College.
My experience over the past 14 years has helped me develop stronger understanding and knowledge to meet each clients needs.

I thoroughly enjoy working as part of the salon team, a happy client is everything to me, seeing them over joyed and feeling great is my main goal.

I enjoy every aspect of hairdressing, I’m always open to learn new skills and love meeting new people who the become loyal clients.

My passion for hairdressing really makes it not feel like a work day, every day can be so very different and varied, you cant ask for any more from a career!

I have been at the salon nearly five years, gaining in confidence in my hairdressing skills and being a capable receptionist. I did my training at Selby college and this is my first position in a salon. I have experienced so much being in the salon, how days all come together and making each client feel special. I love working in the salon learning all the time and meeting people of all ages and walks of life.

I am currently studying a level 2 apprenticeship hairdressing course at Selby college,I have  just finished my first year. I left Selby High School in May 2020.

I started into hairdressing as a Saturday girl and now I am progressing and learning all aspects of  hairdressing. I have wanted to do hairdressing for as long as I can remember. It is great I now I have the opportunity to train and learn the skills to become a qualified stylist next summer. I enjoy the salon environment, meeting and chatting with clients and feeling part of the salon team.
